Begin...again!  The time has come to press the start button again on either a project or business that was laid to rest (well at least you thought it was)! The team here at The Applous has been dealing with those begin again feels for pretty much most of this new year/era/decade of 2020. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but a needed shake-up to figure out what exactly is our aim and end goal with this website, and in our own creative space. The figuring out phase is usually the most thrilling. Allowing your mind to run wild with endless ideas of new beginnings. But then, the actual beginning must eventually begin...again!

We at The Applous are the first to openly, honestly, and quickly admit that beginning any type of new venture has challenges. But beginning again, that is now a whole new level of feels and struggles. The questions and hindrances can at times drown out the reasons as to why you wanted to begin in the first place. One must have to learn the process of training oneself to not fall prey to that noise and instead focus on pushing through and beginning. Deciding to commit to the cause and pushing aside those temptations to shelf the venture completely.

We should start with applauding ourselves for simply beginnning! Deciding that you will go at your own pace and progress to what is your own next stage at your won time, yes emphasis on own

Bringing it back to life!  That actual feeling that you are having to breathe life back into something you had let die. Dramatic you might say or think, but let me tell you that if you know then you really know. Having to breathe life into a venture or project you allowed to simmer down, and now having to revive it while trying to figure out how you can improve it.

That seems to be the expectation right once you have announced a comeback or a rebirth, now is the time to show improvements! Or maybe that is just our feeling here at The Applous, but it can sure be a hindrance to one even stepping out again. The pressure to impress and show change can surely be a discouragement and hindrance to beginning again

Realizing this is a personal race and going at your own personal best pace is what is healthiest for you and your own creative abilities. Resisting those hindrances and extra stresses of keeping up, changing, and adapting to societies "best" and instead committing to your own best. Chucking up them deuces to the competition and focusing on your own conviction.

Knowing what to avoid and what to do better!

That is just some of the highlights and bonuses of beginning again. The knowing of what to avoid is essential in being able to spot what caused the downfall previously as well as what to avoid that could lead to a downfall. That is not to say that you are now a know-it-all (cause ain't nobody about that life), but mostly that you are at least more aware and knowledgable on potential pitfalls. Something we at The Applous easily agree on is that some of our best decisions in life was to simply begin again. Refusing to allow the fear or even at times the embarrassment of starting something over again hold us back from giving it another go. Yes, at times it is wisest to use the experience as a lesson learnt and let it rest. But then there are those times when YOU just know resting time has concluded and a rebirth is the next best step.

Doing it better is an accomplishment all in itself! That is when you can sense that the rebirth was worth it, when your comeback is already starting off to a higher level. Sometimes simply celebrating the smallest victories, help sets you up for the bigger ones that are to come. Let's join together and be more supportive of the begin again. There is no harm in retrying out a venture or project that might have not yet seen the success level you would like to achieve. As we are constantly being reminded of time waits for no man, and tomorrow is the only day that appeals to a lazy man. Begin again, today!
